God's Design

  About this course

"If a flower doesn't bloom, you don't blame the flower, you fix the environment in which it lives."
                             - Alexander Den Heijer

You are God's flower. You are his creation. Many women who struggle to recover from the impact of domestic violence blame themselves for their abuse and the impact it has on their mental and spiritual growth.

The truth of the matter is that you were not designed to live in a toxic, chronically unstable environment. Physical and emotional abuse take a toll on our mental well-being. These environments impact us in a very real way. If you are living with physical and narcissistic abuse, you will never be able to live the life that God has called them to.  You are living beyond the physical limitations of God's Design.

Living in your fight or flight can result in struggles with depression, anxiety, sleep, irritability and more. This is not because you failed as a wife, this is because your abuser has force you to live in a state that results in damage far beyond the obvious physical scars.

As you move out of this environment, your journey to healing should be led by a clear understanding of the effects of your abuse and the life changes that are needed to heal your body, spirit and soul.
